Make your very own flower vase! In this 2 1/2 hour class brought to you by Ceramic Educators Cone10Flat , you will construct a vase out of slabs of clay. Whether you are brand new to clay or have hand building experience you can make your very own vase. You will learn new hand-building techniques or refine your current ones. Together we will learn how to throw slabs, make strong joints and manage and refine seams to create a gorgeous functional object. In this class, expect to create a flower vase that we will fire and glaze with your choice of one of our five glazes. We will have your piece ready for pick up at Colibri in 3-4 weeks after class.

Workshop includes all materials needed to make your flower vase, excellent food and beverage provided by Ripe Cooperative and a flower bouquet for your finished vase!

Class will be held outside in the Colibri private garden: 1454 NE Prescott Street, Portland, Oregon.

Everyone will have individual tools and materials. You do not need to bring anything except yourself!
