Make your own planter with Ceramics educators Cone10Flat. In this 2 1/2 hour class you will construct a planter out of slabs of clay. Whether you are brand new to clay or have hand building experience you can make your very own planter. You will learn new hard building techniques or refine your current ones. Together we will learn how to throw slabs, make strong joints, manage and refine seams and make two parts that work together to create a gorgeous functional object. In this class, expect to create a planter and saucer set that we will fire and glaze with your choice of one of our five glazes. We will have your piece ready for pick up at Colibri in 3-4 weeks after class.

Workshop includes all materials needed to make your planter, excellent food and beverage provided by Ripe Cooperative and your choice of houseplant to pot into your new planter!

Class will be held outside in the Colibri private garden: 1454 NE Prescott Street, Portland, Oregon.

Everyone will have individual tools and materials. You do not need to bring anything except yourself!
